Dear Parents,

Yesterday the students and staff competed in a fiercely-contested basketball game.  Although there was some uncertainty about the final score, there was no question about the fun and laughter that took place on the court.  The Annual Student-Staff Basketball Game is a great example of the relationships between the students and teachers and the value we all place on enjoying each other.  Kudos to the Fowler staff who played, cheered, and joked with the students in a fun-filled game.

Congratulations to our Do Right students of the week..Katie Briggs, Nina Chiodo, Kayla DeCapua, Steve Fajardo, Adam Fowler, Aiden Hobbs, Tristan May, Melissa O'Leary, Liliya Pavlovskaya, Paige Seymour, Gabe Silva.

Using Mindfulness to Relieve Stress and Create Ease in Daily Life

Please join the Maynard SEPAC on Tuesday, April 5th @ 7pm in the Fowler School Library

Mindfulness is such a big “buzz” word these days. Have you ever
wondered what it’s all about? Why and how it can be so helpful when
dealing with stressful situations? Everyone can benefit from learning about and implementing a mindfulness practice!
Come join us for this adults-only presentation and learn how and why to incorporate stillness and meditation into your life.
Laura Grundstrom, YogaKids Certified Teacher, RYT200, and Kyra Marino, RYT200, Owner of Revolution Community Yoga in Acton, MA
will offer practical ways to include this in your daily routines. We'll also talk about child-friendly ways to present these concepts so that you can go home and practice mindfulness with your children.  It takes 21 days to create a new habit so begin with usand see how mindfulness can benefit you and your family on a daily basis!

Please RSVP to Jen Scott at or 978-897-2735 to attend.  Free and open to the public.
