Dear Families,

We are off to a great start!  We are thrilled with the positive energy the students are bringing in their first two days at Fowler.  We hope the first few days of school felt smooth and comfortable.  Please let us know how we can help with a good transition back to school.

Wally greeted the students and staff yesterday to welcome everyone back to school.

Excellent progress has been made on the Fowler playground and the structure is in place.  Soon, the rubber floor will be installed and then the playground will be able to be used.  In the coming weeks, we will hold an "Opening Celebration" and then the playground will open.  We will likely also hold a Family Picnic on the same night.  Hopefully, we will soon know the exact date for the playground celebration, which we will share with you.  We have ordered six new rims for our basketball courts and we will be repainting the four-square lines to help make the most out of recess time.

We have several events happening this month as a way to welcome our students and families back to Fowler, which you can see on the calendar below.

Fowler Parking Lot

The Fowler parking lot is a busy place with students being dropped off by buses, vans, and cars.  We ask that you drive cautiously and thoughtfully, paying close attention to students who are crossing, handicapped parking spaces, and all of the speeding and parking laws.  We know the mornings are crowded and we ask that you help us to keep the parking lots safe for everyone.

Have a great long weekend.

Mr. Mela
